The gatherings people actually hold
Birthdays and first birthdays, housewarmings and griha pravesh, poojas and satsangs, graduations, engagements, baby showers, and the Sunday lunch that turned into thirty people. Most run between twenty-five and eighty guests, in a house or a community room rather than a banquet hall.
At that size the questions are different: how much food is actually enough, what holds for three hours, whether you need staff at all, and who clears up. We will answer those before you commit to a menu.
How much food, honestly
The most common mistake is ordering for the guest list rather than the occasion. An evening party where people graze eats far less per head than a seated lunch, and a menu of eight well-chosen dishes beats fourteen that half get picked at. We would rather quote you less food and have it eaten.
A dependable format for forty: two appetizers, one paneer or vegetable gravy, one meat gravy, a biryani, breads, raita and a dessert. Add a chaat counter and it becomes an event rather than a meal.
Delivery, or staff, or both
Plenty of gatherings need nothing but hot food dropped at the right time, labelled and ready to serve. Others want a server for two hours to keep the buffet tidy and clear plates, which costs less than people assume and changes the host’s evening entirely.
Tell us which you want, or ask and we will say what the event actually needs. We would rather sell you fewer staff than have you remember us as expensive.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum for house party catering?
Twenty-five guests. Below that a restaurant order usually serves you better and we will say so.
How much food do I need for 40 guests?
For an evening party: two appetizers, two gravies, a biryani, breads, raita and a dessert. We size it exactly once we know whether it is seated or grazing.
Do I have to hire staff?
No. Plenty of gatherings are delivery only, packed and labelled ready to serve. A server for a couple of hours is an option, not a requirement.
Can you do fully vegetarian, Jain or satvik?
Yes, planned as a menu from the start rather than a standard menu with dishes removed.
